Come along to the next in our series of workshops around the country teaching people how to use the Butterflies Australia app and website! This workshop will be held in Brisbane in conjunction with the Butterflies and Other Invertebrates Club (BOIC), and the Toohey Forest Environmental Education Centre.

WHERE: Toohey Forest Eco Centre, Griffith University, Nathan camplus (Building 68 on the Ring Road)

WHEN: 10:00am - 12:00pm, Saturday 16th November

On the day we will go through how to use the Butterflies Australia app and website to submit sightings data, how to use the field guide to identify butterflies, and experts from BOIC will lead butterfly walks in Toohey Forest showing you how to do an actual butterfly survey.

Please bring your devices with the Butterflies Australia app installed (Android or iOS), water, hat and sunscreen. Please note that with recent fires there is a risk that smoke in the air could affect people with allergies or lung issues. If you would prefer not to take part in the outside butterfly walks, let the organisers know on the day and we will make sure there is an indoor learning activity available as a substitute. Please also be aware that the entire venue and Griffith University campus is non-smoking.
